Malaika Arora

Model turned VJ turned actress, Ramp queen, 5’5″ tall, sexy diva,Malaika Arora was born on 23 Aug. She always wanted to be a model since her childhood and She always loves being in front of the camera.She is a big hit on the small screen.

Malaika Arora got Married to Arbaz Khan on December 12, 1998. Some of her as campaigns are Pearl Pet, Bare Necessities, Mafatlal, Benzer,Arena, Tanishq, Tribhuvandas Bhimji and De Beers. She certainly does not see herself in show biz in the future. She wants to start certain
business, preferably running a restaurant.


Amrita Arora

Model-turned-actress, MTV VJ, 5′ 4 1/2″ tall,Mumbai girl, Maliaka Arora sister, Amrita Arora was born on January 31. Amrita started her career as a model and gradually moved into being a video jockey. She was featured in ads such as Ponds,Elle 18, After Smoke, Sunsilk fruitamins etc. She is now making it big by hosting shows such as MTV House full and Mtv Chillout On Mtv India.

Her first debut film was Kitne Door Kitne Paas. The industry noticed her after this film. Now she has couple of offers in her hand and she says that she is always following her sister Maliaka’s footsteps. Her memorable experience is Winning the MTV VJ hunt.


Bhoomika Chawla

5’3″ tall, Bhoomika Chawla was born on August 21 in New Delhi. As her father was a military officer who was posted in various places across the country, she lived in many places. Her elder brother is also a military officer. Bhoomika finished her schooling in Delhi and moved to Mumbai in 1997 for work on her career.

Bhoomika started her career by acting in ads and music videos. Her campaign for Ponds talcum powder became popular and inevitably, film offers followed. She got an offer from the Telugu film industry and though “Yuvakudu ” (2000) was her first movie, she became popular with mega hit “Khushi” (Telugu). She won the “Best Actress Award” for the film Kushi too.


Bipasha Basu

This 5′ 8″, light-eyed, culcutta girl, came into the limelight when she won the Famous Ford Supermodels Contest at the age of 17. Bipasha Basu was the second daughter in the family and her pet name was bonny. She also won the Tulips Miss Super Vivacious in the same contest.

This Bengali bombshell is bold enough to accept an unusual role in her debut films. She was a household name much before she entered films.Besides doing innumerable prestigious ads, Bips, as her friends call her, did the famous video ‘Tu…’ for Sonu Nigam’s album, Kismat.
Apart from modelling and acting her other hobbies include dancing,reading and helping her mother with interior designing.


Isha Koppikar

Known in the industry as the Khallas girl, Isha Koppikar shot to fame with her song number in Ram Gopal Verma’s movie Company. This 5’7″ Mumbai beauty was born in 1976. Isha’s performance in Company mezmerised movie go-ers. This tall, beautiful and talented girl turned
her walk-on role to a have-to-see-again experience.

She had actually started her glamour career with modelling. Modelling assignments trickled in after she did a photo shoot with Gautam Rajyadhyaksha when she was still in junior college. But that was just the beginning. Some of the bigger names that she had modeled for are Deepam sarees,Ponds, Camay, Rexona, Synergy, Coke, L’Oreal and Tips & Toes. She also did about five or six ramp shows. But in 1995, at the Miss India 1995 contest, she won the Miss Talent crown.

Coming from a family of academics, she felt compelled to finish her degree in LIfe Sciences in Ruia College, Mumbai. After completing her degree, her first film was in Tamil, En Swasa Katre. She was cast opposite Arvind Swamy, who was at the peak of his fame at that time.The film got rave reviews and she was expected to be a big hit in the south.

However, she softly entered Bollywood. Her first film, Ek Tha Dil Ek Thi Dhadkan, directed by Shah Rukh Sultan in 1997, never saw the light of day. Then it was back to the south to do her second film with Tamil superstar Prashant. She managed to do about ten films in the south and
worked in all South Indian languages except Malayalam. Her performance in Tamil film ‘Kaathal Kavithai’ fetched her the Filmfare award for the best newcomer in the south in 2000-01.

Though her work was in the South, her heart was set on making a name for herself in Mumbai. She did small roles in Fiza and Pyar, Ishq aur Mohabbat. But she got the much wanted and needed break from Ram Gopal Verma.

Isha loves to make friends and chat on the net. She loves dancing but not at discos—she likes to start her day early. Besides painting and making candles in her free-time, she loves to obble-up her mother’s cooking. She is a self-proclaimed food-freak in love with butter chicken, biryani, seafood and chinese.

After Khallas, producers have been lining up with offers. Some of the offers that she has in hand are Sanjay Gupta’s multistarrer Kaante,Plan with Dino Morea, a Harry Baweja venture, and of course, more movies with Ram Gopal Verma.


Lisa Ray

India’s Sweet Heart,5’5″ tall, Green eyes, Gorgeous model turned actress Lisa Ray, was born on April 4th to Polish mother and a Bengali father.She was born and brought up from Canada. About modeling as a career decision,Her family was involved in a car accident in which her
mother was seriously injured. She couldn’t join the university then because she missed the term. Then, She came back to India and it continued from where Bombay Dyeing left off.

She came to the lime light when she was Sixteen by appearing in Glad Rags magazine. She went on to host BPL OYE!.She also did a cameo role opposite Rahul Roy and with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s Afreen Afreen music video.

After long gap, She came back with a vengeance and Done Lakme, Sprite,Matiz, Monte Carlo, and the Garden ad Campaigns.She has also appeared on the cover of Great Looks, Elle and Femina magazines. After her debut film Kasoor, Lisa Ray had shown a distinct disinclination to
pursue a career in Bollywood. However, a filmmaker from South has succeeded in breaking the reserve of the lissome lass.

She’s started writing for Cosmopolitan, The Times group of publications and The Indian Express. Her ambition is to be a novelist.

Lisa Ray is the beauty who has been ranked as the ninth most beautiful woman of the Millenium in India by a poll conducted by the Times of India, the only model in the top ten.


Sameera Reddy

Tall, dusky, model turned actess, Sameera Reddy, is youngest of three sisters. Her other two sisters—Meghna Reddy and Sushma Reddy— are popular VJs. Her first debut was Pankaj Udhas video “Ahista keejia batein”. She did this video when she was in Sydenham College.

Sameera Reddy’s main hobbies are working out in gym, swimming, yoga and dance. She is a trained Kathak dancer. She is very particular about her diet. She stays away from fatty, spicy, and fried foods; and colas. Her main bad habits are smoking and drinking. She entered in Bollywood with her first film, Maine Dil Tujhe Diya.

A gold-medallist in Economics from the State University of Boston.Started filmi career with KAHO NAA PYAAR HAI, a super hit movie.
