If you want to know that which doctor stays in of near your colony then you just have to Click on Delhi Medical Council (DMC) website i.e.  www.delhimedicalcouncil.nic.in. The complete information related to any particular doctor is available on this website.
 
According to DMC Registrar Dr. Girish Tyagi, there are more than 40,000 doctors list submitted on this website. After logging onto the website one has to just type in their Colony name and you will get the details of the doctors in one go. The doctors can be searched by their Surname also.
 
You will be able to find all kinds of Specialists. Moreover you can get to know the doctorate background of that particular doctor from whom you were taking the treatment until now.
 
If some doctor you know in your colony and is not on the list then it means that there is something wrong and he might be a Fake doctor. There may be certain strict actions taken against these fake doctors.
 
However some doctors move to other regions for practicing so they may not be available on the address as per the address on the website.
