Your valuables require timely care
This is a small effort to a new launch altogether. This article has the pleasure of being the first write up in my blog, so I am trying to break the league by penning something different. Here, I wont guide you what piece of jewellery to buy, how to buy, and especially not at all from WHERE to buy ;{ am I by any chance promoting Krystal jewels here?}Sorry, as it is done out of sheer innocence.
Here are few simple tips you should keep in mind which can maintain the shine of your owned valuable forever. If we take care of these minute instructions, we can avoid the pain of cleaning and wiping them again and again. For example:
Avoid interaction with chemicals. Some everyday chemical combinations can be harsh on gold, silver and especially pearl, even the cultured ones that comprises of thick layers. Your valuables will stay cleaner if you put them on after you’ve applied your makeup and perfume. Be sure to take off your jewellery before you apply hand and body creams. The products that are used on the skin such as lotions, bleaches, or hair dyes can be harmful.
Try to Remove your rings or wear gloves to keep chlorine {chemicals such as chlorine can affect your fine jewellery} away from your rings and soft hands.
Never dip any jewellery in ‘dip’ solutions or commercial cleaning solutions even though it may say that it is for silver or any other jewellery. Dip cleaners will work the first few times, but after that the jewellery may turn in colour and will never look the same. Such Cleaning products can affect the surface of the jewellery robbing it of its natural sheen. The gemstones in your jewellery may be damaged from the dip solution.
Also beware of where you remove your jewellery; setting on the edge of the sink can sometimes end in tragedy when your ring rolls down the drain. Don’t store your pearls or the jewellery with gemstones settings with other jewel pieces; because they can be scratched easily when metal rub against them. Find a special slot in your jewellery box for the pearls and gemstones, or keep them in a soft bag made from chamois or another non-abrasive material.
Your fine pearl necklaces should be restrung periodically so that you’re sure the silk or nylon cord holding them is in good shape.
We do not recommend cleaning your jewellery with toothpaste and a toothbrush as this will scratch the silver and precious stones.
Following these few simple tips can ensure many years of life and enjoyment from your jewellery.
